As regards litigation, the Law Firm has gained a significant experience in civil and criminal proceedings and especially in on-line and off-line counterfeiting and unfair competition actions, as well as in actions for the cancellation, lapsing and claiming etc. of the aforementioned intellectual property rights before the competent Italian and foreign courts. The Firm, in relation thereto, adopts, in accordance with the facts of the case, strategies which are as compliant as possible with the Client's instructions and are aimed at obtaining the efficient enforcement of those measures which are provided for by the applicable legislation (i.e. seizures, descriptions, injunctions, publication of judgements, destruction of products, award of damages etc.).
In support of such activity, the Law Firm - in relation to all those goods transiting through Italian customs which are suspected of infringing intellectual property rights - also collaborates in a constant and fruitful manner with the Italian Customs and Excise, in order to give assistance and support to the latter in the exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Regulation EC 241/99.
